インディアナ日本語学校（IJLS）の国際部は、PTOボランティアと地域の皆さまの協力で運営されています。18歳以上を対象に、日本語の基礎と日本文化を楽しく学べます。 Hosted by the Indiana Japanese Language School (IJLS) with support from PTO volunteers and our local community. For adults (18+), learn practical Japanese and culture in a fun setting.

Japanese class conversation in small groups

Japanese Language Club とは About the Club

発音・語彙・リスニングなどの基礎、日本の慣習や行事を学び、レベル別の少人数テーブルでネイティブスピーカーと会話練習を行います。 Build pronunciation, vocabulary, and listening skills; explore Japanese customs and holidays; and practice conversation in small, level‑based groups with native speakers.

初級Beginner

ひらがな・カタカナ・あいさつ・基礎会話。Hiragana/Katakana, greetings, and basic conversation.

  • 1時限目：9:10–10:10（定員10名）1st Class: 9:10–10:10 AM (Max 10)
  • 2時限目：10:25–11:25（定員10名）2nd Class: 10:25–11:25 AM (Max 10)
  • 3時限目：11:40–12:40（定員10名）3rd Class: 11:40 AM–12:40 PM (Max 10)

$35 / 学期/ semester
  • 1学期：全7回（同日3コマの参加も追加料金なし）One semester: 7 sessions (no extra fee to join multiple classes on the same day)
  • 支払方法：チェックまたはマネーオーダー（宛名：Indiana Japanese Language School）Payment: Check or money order (Payable to: Indiana Japanese Language School)
  • 現金不可Cash not accepted

ポリシーPolicies

  • 申し込みはGoogleフォームから。各クラス定員10名。Register via Google Form. Max 10 students per class.
  • キャンセル・欠席による返金・日割り計算はありません。No refunds or prorated fees for cancellations/absences.
  • 遅れての参加は空きがある場合のみ可。Late enrollment only if seats are available.

英語が全くの初心者でも大丈夫？Is it okay if I'm a total beginner?

レベル別にグループ分けします。初めての方も安心してご参加ください。We group by level. First‑timers are welcome.

教材は必要ですか？Do I need textbooks?

基本は会話中心で、プリント配布や簡単な教材を使用します。We focus on conversation; handouts and light materials are provided.

途中から参加できますか？Can I join mid‑semester?

空きがあれば可能です（返金・日割りなし）。Yes, if seats are available (no refunds or prorating).
